About the Creator & the Blog

I started this blog in early 2023 because I was tired of AI content that promised miracles and delivered nothing. I live in Denver, Colorado, and I spend most of my time testing AI tools, building small projects, and writing about what actually happens.

The format is deliberately timeline-style. Every post is timestamped. You can scroll back to my earliest experiments and see the progression—tools I loved and abandoned, workflows that stuck, and the slow, unglamorous process of figuring things out. No rewrite history. No deleted failed predictions.

My editorial philosophy is simple: transparency, usefulness, and zero hype. If a tool is overated, I say so. If a growth tactic didn't work for me, I publish the numbers anyway. This blog exists for people who'd rather learn from someone's real experience than another polished case study.

Subject Line Testing: What 200 Sends Taught Me

After A/B testing subject lines across 200 newsletter sends, clear patterns emerged. Short subject lines (under 40 characters) consistently outperformed longer ones. Questions beat statements. Personalization didn't move the needle for my audience.
